We had three! Nityam, Debby and me. We even had guest–some neighbors who stopped by to hear a song! We played an ok version of Can’t Help Falling in Love. We were caught off guard to ‘perform’!!
We practiced: Put Your Roots Down; May You Always; May The Long Time Sun; (between these last two songs, considering for a ‘signature closing song’ for performances); Can’t Help Falling in Love; Feelin’ Alright; Dancing in the Dark, Kokomo–latest version; Merry Christmas Darling, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight.
Probably so many songs because we’re ‘trying out’ songs for our music list. I think that eventually we’ll need to vote to decide which songs we’ll really practice to excellence! Voting when all are together is ideal, but not practical because it may not be until October! It looks like most people will be at practice in early July. So submit your songs for consideration!
